Enabled by the low price of Next Generation Sequencing, Invitae was among the many companies were starting out to disrupt genetic testing. Without much clinical history, they needed a unique and compelling story for their upcoming IPO.
Insight
Most people fear their genome. They believe that secrets are lurking, and exposing those secretes would put them at risk of depression, social bias, or manipulation.
Solution
Redevelop the brand to express the company’s belief that our genetics can have the power to unite us, and a singular promise to serve as the most trusted vault for peoples’ genetic identity and information.
